    Talking My orignal lighting project

So I was bored one day at work and found this little strip of flexible white LEDs on ebay...
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/White-12V-96-...QQcmdZViewItem

I was actaully looking for some interior lighting to put in the boot for my stereo install but 10 Minutes previous to that, I was also admiring the Audi R8.... does anyone get where I am going with this?

    Mk3 Audi R8 Golf FTW

    kgo!

    Yeah!!!!

    Parkers only:

    Main Beams:

This is how I wired it up:
    1. run power wire from both lights through the fire wall and up behind the dashboard.

    2. pull out lighting thingo (i believe it is called a loom?)

    3. turn lights to the 'parker' position

    4. use a vu meter to work out which pins are for the parker lights

    5. jam the wires into the back of the connector

    6. re-assemble

Here you can see that I'm holding the power wires for the light strip

and here is a better example of where the wires go

don't hold me to it but i believe the one further to the left is the negative.

I don't think the pictures really do them justice, because they look sweet in the night.

    Opinions are more than welcome

if only they were just a little bit shorter - then they would have looked like angry eye brows! hahaha

Photos, no doubt don't do them justice, so I'll reserve judgement till is seem them in person

I was wondering though, why didn't you do them on the bottom like on the R8?

These are pretty cool! I think I need some blue ones for a future project...

10/10 for doing something unique. It will be interesting to see them in real life.

Great Job! I've been waiting for someone to do this and you've done it well. If u develop a kit and include all parts and easy instructions you'll make $1million.

Interesting..I reckon you should have started from the edge to the center like the R8.
