My non sex-spec purple VR6

Hi guys

Thought I'd make a thread so that I can get to know everyone and get help where I need it because it's my first car

So I bought her in late March from a guy who lives just up from me in the Northern Beaches, it wasn't in the best condition as most Mk3/VR6's are but for the price I wasn't complaining and was expecting it. I didn't exactly mind that it was a bit rough as I wanted to be able to see the change and learn as I go

So the good:
- the colour! purple is my favourite colour and the colour of my hair haha
- manual
- immaculate interior
... yeah that's about it lol

The not so good:
- rear wheel bearings went after a couple weeks
- engine mounts are non-existent
- shifter is sloppy
- the much dreaded timing chain is starting to make some slight noise

- the idle valve is playing up.. I think

So yeah, a bit to work on but the plan is just to make it reliable because I don't want to get rid of it anytime soon
So far I've done the standard mods such as a new head unit and speakers - front, rears (wtf rear speakers...) and tweeters and last week finished replacing the rear wheel bearings, had a couple of issues and needed a new stub axle but i'll upload pictures of the mess soon

Anyway, so this is a photo of the car when I bought it and there aren't really any visual mods so far besides plates but i'll get more photos up soon

Thanks! Fairly clean.. just I think 2 big scratches (looks like it'd been keyed) and a couple of dents here and there, it's done about 230,000km and I paid just over $2k for it, but with no rego
