    My New Whip

    Hi guys,

    Thought it would be time to put up new car

    1995 VW Vento.
    Manual.
    2L 4 cyl
    Maroon
    Sports Exhaust
    Alloys (a bit meh)
    lowered.

    Only had it for 2 days but love it, it's very comfy to ride in, picked it up for 3.5k and it's pretty mint for the age. I have some slight plans for it, namely making it lower (maybe not stu low ) and getting some decent offset 15" wheels...I'm a sucker for oldskool jap rims so we'll see what I can find for a reasonable price!

    Nice buy. I've been eyeing it off on Carpoint for a while. Not that I'm really in the market for a new car. Always good to see another mk3 on the forums!

    Only 65 Ventos brought in to Australia in 1995, odd that your rear badge is in a slightly different spot than mine (lower), and slightly less odd there's no 'Classic' decal on the side.

    I like that colour - welcome!!

    If that was mine I'd:

    Slam on coils
    Throw some cool jap 3 piece wheels on - volks or something
    badgeless grille
    debadged rear except vw emblem
    lose the tow bar
    smoked or clear side markers
    smoked or clear indicators
    vr lip
    get some votex racks

    done! Another dope looking vento in oz!

    I'm leaning towards some Equip 03s or 01s..but we'll see what pops up

    Hey Guys,

    So it seems my foglights don't work, I have the ability to turn them on in the cabin but nothing happens, would this be the case even if they were dummy ones?
