Yeah there is ABS, was only kicking in for a split second.
This is the first car I've had with ABS, I find it's a good system hasn't randomly done it for no reason, and managed to stop the car very rapidly over some loose rocks on the road. (unlike stories of the mr2 ABS that done it going over speedbumps or regular braking in rain)
My ABS failed when I most needed it the other day on the highway doing a stupid speed. The wheels all locked up and the car slid out of control for a good 15-20 metres atleast going up a steep hill (the range...) barely missing another car and ending up off the road. I don't think I even pushed the brake that hard so im thinking maybe it was the abs that locked them up in the first place... still could have been myself in a moment of panic. The ABS light has been on since. So even though its there, make sure you know how to stop without it. Ive done advanced driver training so should have known what to do, but it all happened so quickly an was a little thrown off, thinking wtf.
The tyres now have flat spots and are no longer round and you feel it every time the wheel turns :/

Next modification is under way, i was too eager so i forgot to take pics and now it is dark, but hopefully by tomorrow morning or sunday morning it will be ready to be uploaded.
I have a question seen supercheap, auto one and repco contradict.
I'm buying a HID kit.
Story is anyway;
Repco told me H1
Auto one told me H4
And supercheap couldn't even tell me.
So, my question is. What type of globes are the light bulbs in my mk3?
And I also want to add different license plate lights, probably LED's, what type would I get for there?
Thanks.

if your buying HIDs should get some projector headlights also...
do your highbeams and lowbeams come from the same globe? If so id go with H4 (same as vento and bora)
My high and lows are different globes. I'll see about the projectors my plans were to Joey mod then get the HID upgrade; my cousin payed $65 delivered for a HID kit that literally took 25 seconds to install, the beam is very good as well. I got unlazy and went and found the manual:
Main headlight = 12v 55-60w (h4)
Double headlight = 12v 55w (h1)
And sam's post clarity's the number plate ones.
Thanks sam for that.
