Got to go for a squirt with the new throttle body.
And for such a minor mod, it was definitely rate able on the butt dyno. Throttle response is much better, whole rev range seems to go bit harder to.

So, yesterday my clutch pedal got stuck on the floor! Once I pulled it up I tried pushing it again, this time it stopped 3/4 of travel and shook up and down quite violently. turned the engine off. now i can only push it back half way of travel.
Any one have any ideas. At first I just thought the pedal broke. No big concern. But after a bit of a look I fear something more sinister at work.

This is a broken pedal. Note the metal has cracked exposing the white clip.
This is mine. No broken welds or anything.
Fingers on the pressure plate? This happened to me ages ago in a Ford Laser (pedal went lifeless and on the floor) and it was the pressure plate.
I'm thinking this has when I had the ratios changed. The car was hard to put into 1st every now and then and every other gear was similar to pushing through thick goo. At the time I though they just mis aligned the shifter cables.
Any idea how to test this? I.e start it in first and see what happens
No idea Hayden. In my case, about 6 of the fingers on the pressure plate broke off when i changed gear. Clutch was fine one second and lifeless the next (no noises etc to warn you).
I had to buy a new clutch kit.
Seems exactly what happened.
Annoyed as its a brand new kit that should hold up 400ft/lbs and 7000rpm launches haha.
Have you tried the little spring on the back if the clutch?
Ok that's what was up with dads clutch.
