    hahah I remember that! There was video floating around as well wasnt there? Best burnout ever!
    I remember u explaining the technique involved as well. From memory it was lots of revs, 2nd gear and a side step off the clutch!

    Tim its was a fun day indeed!

    The technique is about 5500-6000 rpm, handbrake and no mercy for the clutch... if it was still in the water box you could flat change to third for extra smoke... just don't roll onto the sticky part because you will destroy a clutch/gearbox/driveshafts.

    There is a bit of an art to getting them down the strip quickly... it involves little mechanical sympathy and a good launch with the right amount of slip and grip. Sticky tyres are good for a few 10th's as is weight reduction, its all free horsepower.
