    South African car

I bet this car was built in the South African VW factory.
You could tell by the VIN number.

You would be surprised how many parts for our cars are made there.
But for $800 it would be a great strip down ... rebuild with a VR6 (turbo) project car. Just need to get a VR6 that is being wrecked. Tempting for a winter project???

BTW: They also have a BMW factory in South Africa.

Yup, i'd rip it to peices and build it as a mean arsed vr6 turbo track/drag car.

But if I had the cash to do that... i'd be buying a Porsche Cayman S
