the golf is very good at testing your patience haha

like DubSteve said, a couple minutes in the oven and a knife and a bit of force, and theyll come off. If your joey modding them and masking them, dont use normal masking tape it will take the chrome of the headlights straight off (it comes off much easier then youd think, dont ask me how I know), glad wrap apparently works. I ended up doing mine with a brush

Guys thank you so much! I'm going to give it another go after I get back from my work trip. I got irritated cause I did this mod on my Volvo and it took me like 2sec to do. And the chrome stayed on beautifully even thought I used good masking tape on it. I think though that I'll go with a small paintbrush on these lenses.
    Cheers guys!

Fyi, the new exhaust makes the engine run so much better!! mucho happio

Sorry for thread stealing; but along the lines of Joey modding, can sikaflex be used as a sealant?

Hm you could, but i wouldn't. Sikaflex gets really hard, more like glue, so if u need to detach them in the future it would be supertricky. I bought a black window seal thing that's simmilar to the org stuff, so it gets hard but still moldable, and it's black.

Oh well, so I finally got around getting the front lights done! Came to realise that the headlights aren't oem which is why i've had such a hard time with the glue. Anyway after alot of poking around i got them done =) Decided to also paint the inside of the headlight housing.
Pretty pleased! What do you guys think? I also got the sidemarkers tinted.

Oh yeah I got my chrome rings and quickly put them on. Have to redo them though cause i want to have red needles. Will look much better with red oppose to black i think.

Thanks for looking guys! What do you all think?
