As for the turbo kit, it should simply be a bolt up affair!
And, at least buy some real shoes, not your "chinese safety boots"...
Sean not everyone is mechanically minded like yourself or others on this forum.

I know alot of people that would rather pay than to do the work themselves.

And WTF is wrong with my chinese safety shoes?
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

How much does an engine rebuild cost for the vr? Theoretically it brings it back to 0kms quality?

How long is a piece of string, who are you getting to do it, and what do you want out of the build. Rebuild for a blown head on a std motor (not run to death) should not be too bad, but if you cook it running boost, expect to have to get new heads, cams, timing chains etc. Or a whole new top end if you are flooging it when it goes bang. The comment by VdubD is certainly valid, make sure your engine is damn good before you go pumping compressed air in!
Bear in mind Dubs are new to me - this is talking Subies (4 bangers, but still dual heads / cams).

I'd gamble that what you said goes the same for all engines that begin life as NA.

    I would run 6psi on an clapped out 1.6 8V in a mk 1 & daily it!

6psi isn't even half an atmosphere!

Seb knows what is going on. ~5.5K for a bolt on kit at 6 psi is pretty good imo. I'm geussing that you could even upgrade from stage 1 to stage 2 at a later stage for a small price?? All the mechanicals would be the same no?
I doubt stage 1 would require an LSD. How much power do the kits put out Courtney?

I'd run a stage 2 kit on standard healthy VR6 anyday of the week. And twice on sundays.

Courtney can you please be in business in two and a half years time? That way I can start saving now and have the money for it when my full licence arrives!

Feel free to email me as an expression of interest and once final pricing has been negotiated you can be the first to know. The kit will come with everything

My own car will have a Stage 5+ kit which will have most of the R & D done.

    Hi Courtney,

Does this price also apply to Bora 24v V6 motors? I assume the manifold and ecu will be slightly different.

Here's hoping the AUD > USD approaches parity again in 2009!!!

    Cheers,
