    yes you do.

If you read on the Dub Addiction website the mahle filters we sell are for models up to a specific engine number.

I believe its the final run of MK3s that share a similar filter to the mk4 12v engines as they had in the US. Most likely would be limited to MY07 cars which would be a very small amount in Australia.

Feel free to send the filter back for a refund if you like. I need to do an oil change on my VR6 anyways

After "mid 96" (there is also an engine number range) they started using a different filter. If your stuck and need one today and can get out to Campbelltown I can lend you one

The wheel arches were dumped, the side indicators are round.
Larger front rotors on the newer models (280 -> 288mm)?
OBDI vs OBDII (although I don't think Australia got the change)
Is the glove box in the later models or is that pot luck?

The later model VR6's are a little stange... although maybe it's just mine.

I have an engine with a number that is way past the "mid 96" engine number when the filter changes, although I have a 1/96 build plate. Repalcement engine probably?
My front bumper is textured, back is smooth and coded. The side indicators are round, but the front gaurds have marking from arches...
Don't know if/when it changed, but some head liners have wider sun visors with built in lights VR6 vs GL/CL? (mine doesn't have lights).
My door chime thing is more of a buzz when you leave the lights on and I'm pretty sure it's a ding when the keys are in.

I might have to take you up on that offer, bring one around on the 13th of December cruise with a few VWW stickers

I'll send out the old filters tomorrow, they'll be a Kleenex box with your name on it Tim!
