please where is the paint code located of a mk3 vr6? I cant find it anywhere

boot,under the carpet,should be a white sticker with all the codes on it.might have been peeled or taken off if the car has had a rear ender...

I have mine in the first page of the "service schedule".
I believe the code starts with CCM ****
the * is the paint code.

Thats one tip i would give to anyone looking at buying a mk3
If that white sticker (in the boot) is not there...walk away

Rear ended in most cases, no good reason for the sticker to be removed.

Said sticker is also located behind the right headlight. Found it the other day, weird eh?

hey guys.
sorry to bring back an old topic but i still cant find the paint code. theres no sticker in the boot
theres a sticker near the headlight. its a barcode of some sort. Has numbers but doesnt match any info.

heres a link i found at vaglinks.com it has the paint codes for 1994-98 volkswagen.

are the codes on this link correct? If so then i still havnt found the paint code

found the code. it was in the boot. behind the cd changer. no wonder i couldnt find it. It hasnt been rear ended woohoo

The same sticker is in the front of the service book if you have it.

Paint codes are in 3 parts, L90E is alpine white for example.
