Mk3 VR6 intake 'noise'!?

Hey guys,
My 12v VR6 is running a 42dd intake pipe to the stock airbox, with bottom section cut out/mesh protection.
So, when i floor it and open it right up, there is a.... 'squeak' or 'squeal' noise through the intake? Could this be due to the way the box is modified? Or something common im not aware of?

Just the air coming through causing the squeal, nothing serious.

Cheers! Figured it was nothing serious! Just sounds a little ugly!

Try mounting your intake differently. You can reduce it by quite a bit. I have mine closer to the fender hole and if I remember correctly it didn't happen as often.
Edit; oh saw you have the stock airbox, I actually had this happen with the stock airbox too but it was very mild.
