is your girlfriends cl a manual? and you used coilovers on it?

im considering putting a 60/40 cup kit in my gf's car and some steelies, its an auto though.

Yeah it's a manual she refuses to drive an auto lol, it is on JOM coilovers and we have just done a disc brake conversion on the rear.

Seeing it is a nice day outside today I thought I would pull the front seats back out and steam clean them and the carpets. The front seats are disgusting! In the few years I have been detailing I have not seen so much rubbish come out of seats. I tried to take a photo of it but you can't really see.



And here is a comparison the left has been steam cleaned the right has not.

So I have just been collecting service parts for the car. I don't know much about the vr6 so I'm just researching and buying the products as I find out what I should be using. I have picked up my oil and fuel filters, G13 coolant, and some oil now I'm looking for my gear oil. I have just ordered some NGK plugs and some leads as well.


Also I found this sticker on the inside of the door does anyone know what the recall was for?

Yesterday I painted the engine covers, I got a bit excited reading all the UK guys build threads and saw the effort they put in to detailing their engine bays. Mine looks a bit sad so I thought I would start with an easy job. Up next will be painting the rocker cover satin black polishing the Throttle body and painting/polishing parts of the inlet manifold, a new coolant overflow bottle probably wont go astray either.


I also joey modded my headlights but when I put them on I realised that I should have painted more then what I did so ill pull them back out again and fix it probably on Monday.
