Well I went for a drive tonight and all of a sudden my drivers front window died on me .....I see it seems to be a problem with the MK3's. Does anyone have a manual window reg laying around that they will weigh for me please?

Nice buy! E30 looked nice too

Did you ever finish the paint correction? It makes so much different to these, especially that colour. They look awful when it's neglected or dirty, but once you clean it up... wow. I hated mine at first too, then I spent a few days bringing the paint back to life and fell in love with the colour.. Here's some detail inspiration

Window regulators can sometimes be fixed simply with a cable tie, think theres a write up on here, worth checking out.

Anyway good luck with it, I wish I could find one for that price...

Thanks for the words of advice! My window regs just make a clicking sound they wont move up or down so I think its more then just the clip breaking. Im trying to finish the paint correction but I own a detailing business and when you do it for everyone else you just cbf doing for yourself.

It's the motor that clicks. The regulator is just attached by that flimsy plastic box thing.
