Dad's had this car since late 2000, replacing his 81 Passat, bought it from Sydney with 90k on the clock, now has about 255 and is going strong, and as the Van is now sold it's the car of my parents that I can drive while I'm waiting for parts for my Volvo, has some major wheel alignment issues atm too, follows everything in the road, and one of the wheels is buckled still rather badly as it does it's fair share of vibrating, and the rear shocks are stuffed atm, but it's nicer then driving the van and it moves that's for sure.

As I'll be driving is I washed it tonight then cleaned the paint with paint restorer and then waxed it, and I'll have to get some more pics later, but it looks pretty good considering how sandblasted the paint is.

So anyone else feel the TDi love?

One day when dad eventually sells it and I have the money at the time I'll buy it as I know how rare it is, though I'd rather have a MK1 with a newer TDi motor, if this is there already hey, least it will make a good DD.

Also, are the front carpets on these one or two piece? need to replace the drivers side as boots have worn holes into it.
