Ages ago I'd arranged to go and see Ken Lark, who owns the car now, and have a good look through some of the fine VWM / Frazero parts that he has amassed over the years. He knew the late Richard Lloyd, so the odd Audi BTCC wing and wheel lying around just gives a hint of what he's seen.

Anyway, this car is now painted silver:

It's got a bit of Golf A59 or the TDI racers about it.

Airjack inlet, just below the light ^^

Speedlines as mentioned above, ETs pushing things to the max, and the wings are tugged outwards:

Believe it or not, that is full droop!

Proper race Brembos in the front, same type as the Reeves use:

Shortblock 2.0 litre engine, RPM stamped in the usual engine plaque position, bearing out what's mentioned above about it:

The shell is something else mind:

Seam welded conspiciously. Exquisite cage in there. Note the curved bar, behind the drivers seat, curved just to create extra room for the seat. On the other side, the bar is straight. Also twin tanks fitted, clearly for endurance, one below the rear seat area, another behind the axle.

Shell plaque found near the base of the B-pillar:

    On the A-pillar:

This name looks like the co that created it, as the chassis number matches the initials:

I wonder if HPR has heard of them? Looks like a 1997 car at best guess from the chassis no. Came out of Austria, but rumours of Sweden also.

Some of the detail mentioned earlier in the thread...

Dogbox fitted, with flatshift working on a VWMS lever:

    - apparently it's adjustable for testing, so the rpm cut out lasts longer when you're in less of a rush.
    - edit: note extended cable pick up at the base, altering the pivot effect.

    Rear axle:

Note blade adaptor, rose joint drop link ^^ Also evidence of flat flooring going on with fuel tank underside contours x 2.

Shown same but different on this spare axle - stud welded on back edge:

Looks like a little front roll bar which has been adapted to fit this axle:

    Axle mounts:

    Dribble. Silver [:y:]

What a find. Is there any specs around on them?

I had my eye on that on eBay then it disappeared. Good value for money if it's the black car I'm thinking of.
