I don't think my Vento will be roadworthy by then and my old CL is not show-worthy at the moment

I believe the wife is not working that weekend, so I might be able to jag a leave pass to come and have a sticky beak.

Once more details get posted I can apply to the wife for a leave pass. Should be able to get away for a couple of hours but not the whole weekend.

My father-in-law has just finished washing the CL, so I might be able to bring that along. He has borrowed it to use as his daily until we can get the Vento on the road, he will switch to driving that as it is an auto and his knees are giving him some trouble. The CL has been sitting unregistered and unloved for about 9 months, we charged up the flat battery, it fired up first go and away it went. Got to love German engineering.
