Mk3 Mods..whats been done to yours?

Ebay.com.au they are from china i think. I know they look a little ricey in that close up. But really, they add depth to the front end. Just like the 3inch lip on my rims add depth to the sides..

My VR6 doesn't have much on it as yet:

Pod filter
2" Exhaust minus the two mid mufflers plus twin tip stainless exhaust
Hella look alike headlights with 5000k bulbs
Fog lamps
Different VW wheels

Does working Heating count as a mod? (air con coming soon)

The usual basic stereo upgrades 6x9's in the parcel shelf + small amp running off a Pioneer head unit.

Ahhhhh, the mods page...
So many plans I have, so little knowledge and money..luckily the forums fix some of the knowledge part

My plans for my VR6 are as follows:

Install remote cental locking: With this comes the need for knowledge of immobilisers/alarms and the way they work...I wanna get a cool key with the button built in! Might go to VW for that...$$..
Finish system: Get another amp cause I have so many speakers in this beast!most likely buy all speakers (and maybe sub..got sub already but meh) same brand, either JBL, Alpine or any brand someone might like to suggest?
Tint windows: (yay for xmas, might have this paid for!) darkest legal of course
Re-paint black plastic on outside: Does anyone know how to do this well? I want to make it dark as possible and original as possible - also wondering if i should match my white paint and go some of it white or just all black..any opinions?
Headlight upgrade: Projectors with halo's, hopefully something like these

Hopefully also some HID Bulbs or a Xenon kit
Taillight upgrade: MAYBE. Smoked, if not LED and i'll smoke the housing..
Short-shifter Kit: I want a shorter shifter. I also want a nicer boot with a non-ripped up shift knob
Air filter: New Box? Pod filter?
Exhaust: Cat-back as I can't afford a whole system..I'm liking the sound of the Magnaflow 2.25" twin pipe system, cept i want them bent up at the tip like DTM style
Minor Cosmetics: Maybe get a different Grille, re-shine my badges or buy black ones, VW stickers for the window/s!

If I keep the car a while I'll definitely be getting me some sexy wheels..I like the look of the 9-spoke Audi inspired 18's, very classy.

That's about it..very detailed..but that's how I like it hehe

. . . nothing . . . i wanna get under the tonne will c . . .

Future

As for the black sides, i'd say DIY

I did, and it looks awesome. Resprayed the front lip, front and rear badges and the spoiler. If I wasn't so busy with Christmas stuff then I would have probably done the side plastics this weekend... I may still do it...

all I did was I went to bunnings and bought a $15 can of gloss black spray paint and did it on the front drive. The badges were easy - I sanded the face down a bit first and then gave them 2 coats.

oh i also sprayed the front reflectors while i was at it. looks sweet IMO

The cage will make it hard to get under the tonne. Thats alot of steel, and alloy ones arn't legal. They seem to collaps.
