    That is your answer.

I have KW V2LE's myself, great coilover but they're getting too firm for me, even on max soft setting!

some guys on here can set you up with a hottuning coilover set which comes with new mounts and all for 800, pm evorobin or Lorenz i think.

Or as someone else mentioned there are many other cheap brands of coilover for the mk3, which you could get off ebay. Would be cheaper then the hottuning ones you can get from here, especially with the aus dollar being so strong, but they dont come with mounts and if theres an issue it will be much harder to sort out as they aren't located here. I know when i was looking at coilovers there was like 5 brands for the mk3, all of which were pretty cheap and as far as I'm aware basically the same. I don't have them all bookmarked any more but JOM, raceland and jamex come to mind.

Mate i got mine from Slammed Distribution ( evorobin or lorenz ) for $800 flat delivered 2 my door... It was a package which came with the coilovers, front strut top mounts, bearings, keyring & a sick ass Slammed Distribution t-shirt with a picture of a slammed Golf mk3 on the back . All was dropped off within the a week and the piece of mind knowing the boys where only one PM away if i ran into any troubles . Not sure if they still have the special package but im sure the boys will look after you.

Those are HotTunings too, same as I have been running for 2.5 years and they still ride great
They go plenty low too, this is with them wound only half way down

Turns out I was wrong. On max soft setting they arent too bad at all! 1/4 turn up tho and they're too firm for me.

I've driven a 9N Polo TDI with HotTuning coilovers and it felt pretty darn good TBH. Not bad for $800.

Well its my first car and first time I've touched suspension. It was all pretty straight forward really. Although many hours/tools were spent trying to get 2 nuts off, was starting to get a bit irritated about that, we had to drill them out in the end. Air tools would have made light work of them im sure though.

I just read some tutorials about putting in coilovers first (search for mk3 raceland coilover diy or something) but really all it is is a few bolts. Being in sydney there are probably a few people whod be happy to help out should you run into trouble.
