    Mk3 headlights

Got some headlights stock ones from the wreckers and come home to find the interior of the lights are loose? Im guessig this is a common problem? Is there a fix to this?

The plastic parts are all in tact but it just doest stay and move around. Its getting pretty frustrating haha.

Very very common. if you want a temp fix i suggested blue tac just so it doesn't shake but could always go a step further and body fill if you wanted. But just put em on ! won't bother you if you can't hear it

Yeah adjusters are broken, I aimed my headlights then went crazy with the silicone gun.

I think you probably have grounds to return them though, worth asking.

My question is this. I actually dont mind the rattle but how do I adjust it? Because at the moment it cant be adjusted, can someone tell me if it can be adjusted if I manually open it up and reseal it?
Can I adjust the reflector myself?

How did you adjust them with a broken holder?

I just grabbed the back off the bulb/wiring connection & aimed them the best I could. (marked the wall etc). then gentle applied a few big blobs of silicone to hold them in place. once this dried I went crazy with some more silicone. worked out OK for now, will be replacing them eventually as they both have small cracks in them as well.

I don't think so...... but you can carefully remove the lens from the front & have a look inside to see whats really going on, but all that did for me was show me that the adjusters were shagged as well as letting me know I wasn't going to be able to fix them.
