Mk3 Engine Mount Install

Hey!

After waiting a while to save and ship, I have now received my engine mounts!
Cheers go to Tim for his help!

So, from left to right, here is the CORRECT front engine mount bracket, then front and trans mounts. The mounts are VF Engineering billet and poly items. I'm not worried about the rear one for now.

I will be putting these into my car when time and weather permits. And will be followed up with a full photo install guide...

hey so why the new front mount bracket? why do you need to change that in order to use the vf inserts ? is it the american stlye odb2 mount or something, ??

The 8v bracket is different to a 16v/TDI bracket which is different again to the VR6 bracket...

After the conversion, i was using the 8v bracket, which i snapped...

I have some spares in the mount dept.

The rear one isnt that tough to fit. I have done them just by undoing the bolts and jacking up the gearbox until the mount comes out. 10 minute job when I did it.

I have the front brackets off a couple of MK2s but they fit plenty of others and a MK3 or Passat front mount.

Got a camera I am sat in front of the telly and can't move.... ;0)

For 3 ECS sell them for $399US plus shipping...

I paid around $400AUD shipped for 2...
