Should be same or very similar. I would leave your Mk2 fuse box to control the engine and car loom and just remove the dash loom part and replace with the Golf 3 dash loom. Everything should then plug in sweetly.
hey guys just wondering and i guess Matt is one of the best sources to ask, is the mk3 say 1995 1.8v the same fuse box as a mk2 1.8v cos im thinking of getting a whole mk3 fuse box so it makes my mk3 dash swap into a mk2 a lil easier. The main concern is if the engine looms all plug in!
cheers tom

i know im missing a few bits, but damn its a mission - found out the boxes are the same so everything should go in!
im thinking the heat will work once i connect the heater matrix up the AC im not so sure cos im think there maybe a wire which switches it on and off, ive got the switch lighting up and going orange but whether it actually does anything i dont know!
then i got to get the basterd wire things on that control the aire flow etc
I don't have an answer to your question, but on a side note, how's it all going? Will you be able to make it to the Nats?
doubt it nup ive had so much work with uni, and this dash swap is a major pain in the ass, so its still not up wto scratch soon as it looks tip top i promise it will be at a cruise
