    MK3 Boot for steering gear

I need to replace boot for steering gear on my VW Golf VR6 MK3 '95. I quoted price from VW dealer $36.60. Part number is #191 419 831. Does anyone know can I use some boot for steering gear from any other type of car (Ford, Holden etc). Any suggestion. Thanks

You mean the boots on each end of the steering rack? You're better off using genuine for a proper fit.

That universal can fit properly (not 100% like OEM parts) because need cut on both sides. I will post pictures tomorrow.
