    Mk3 2L versus Mk4 1.8L

    Hi Guys...........whats difference performance/issues is there between the two ??

    Is the Mk4 1.8L a better or worse car than the Mk3 2L?

    they are pretty much exactly the same, they just have 200 less cc's.

    All i know is DONT get an auto in either, friend of mine at work just got quoted 6k plus to get his slushbox rebuilt
