mk3 2dr side skirts?

hello there fellow dubbers I need help,Im in nsw and i drive a mk3,96,CL and ive been searching the web for weeks now looking for a set of the original vr6 side skirts and i cant find anything in Australia I cant really afford the postage from Europe any suggestion would be highly appreciated

You can get these off the VR6 and GL. Finding them new wont be easy unless you get them from a VW dealer as spare parts. Give your local VW dealer a call and see what they can find, but it wont be cheap!
Keep an eye out at wreckers/breaker yards or for someone on here wrecking a MK3.

I just took them off mine but alas a friend has scabbed some of the parts. I'll give you what's left if you want them...

thanks for the tip on VW dealer didn't even think of that,Id take you up on your offer but I'm just after the skirts without the wheel arches and for a 2 door,I thought of tryng to cut a pair down i wouldn't trust myself to do it.Thanks Guys

I reckon the skirts will be exactly the same as on a 5 door. They came on late model 1.8 and 2L Mk3s and all VR6s.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure they are. The only thing that would be different is obviously the black ''sticker'' textured bit that wraps around the bottom of the door sills - because they're stuck to the car, and obviously because 3door/5door.
