    Can anyone tell me what sort of price I'd be looking at for a Mk3 16V engine, ABF I think is the engine code.

    Mk3 GTI's never came to Australia but a few SEAT models came out with the ABF.

    I think you're looking at around 1500 bucks but that can vary on condition, and what's included etc.
