Mk IIIs at a show...

Went to a VW show last Sunday. Only 2 Mk IIIs, both convertibles. I didn't take my CL as I entered the Green T4 Transporter. Our show is on the 25th Feb 2007, where the CL will have its 2nd show outing.

The Volkswagen Club of SA has both air & water cooled, infact, on our last 2 recent runs, we had more water-cooled, & the last one was 50-50.

It is a perception that they are only for air-cooled, so water-cooled don't participate. By not participating, it allows air-cooled VWs to continue to dominate.

Out of 4 Club members that went to the show last Sunday, there were:
1 T5 Transporter
1 T4 Transporter
1 Bora V5
1 Old Beetle, for sale.

3-1 for water-cooled!

You don't ever change anything by sitting on the sidelines.

I am flying to Adelaide in a few hours, sorry to highjack the thread but does anyone want some watercooled.org stickers? I have evorobins phone no. so I will be in touch. I can leave some stickers with him for distributing maybe??

PS: The constitution of the Volkswagen Club of SA states the purpose of the Club is to promote the Volkswagen brand of cars.

Membership is open to owners of the Volkswagen Gruppe ie. VW, Audi & Seat.
