Nope, just hardly any fees except boarding and feeding myself

Plus I work very hard to do all of this....it's not like I just throw money at it because it's around, I save up for it all!

Hmm...I need the second half of the shrick kit. The valve inside is constantly closed atm because I haven't acquired the vacuu switch/controller yet so it can't open. The car's power literally dies after 4k. It's hell fun up until then though!!

    Yes and no.

Struck a problematic coolant leak when I tried to fix the drip I had, now it'll probs need half a day's work for me to fix. Also can't get the Schrick 100% working just yet because I need time and parts.

    Other than that it's great.....

Mine has a coolant leak... I gave up, i replaced pretty much everything, bottle, hoses, pipes, clamps etc etc etc pressure tested ok. Every second day in the morning, the car has had a little piddle in the garage... It is incontinent, has to be.

Hmmm - i'm sure it will all come together beautifully, at least it looks great

    Thanks! lol.

I did have some luck today though. I managed to fit up and finish the installation of the Schrick components - the vacuum tank, vacuum lines and controller. It was actually quite a fiddly installation; it took me all afternoon to get it how I wanted. I was mocking everything up in different locations to see what worked best, trying to make it as hidden as possible - something I'm proud to say I succeeded in!

-The controller that's hardwired into the ecu is ziptied on top.
-Vacuum tank is in front of the wiper motor underneath the RHS rain tray.
-Wires and vacuum lines for the vacuum switch run through a grommet just next to the vacuum tank, and pop out behind the brake fluid reservoir.
-Switch is located next to the reservoir.
-Manifold vacuum line runs underneath the manifold and everything else up to the brake fluid reservoir, and the vacuum source line runs alongside the brake booster vacuum which is its source

All in all it's almost 100% hidden, so I'm very happy with the result. Few guides I used to install it all ran things in different locations so it was a good challenge to do it on my own. Good result too...holy hell, this thing feels like a different car. Where the car would squeeze up the revrange, it now just bursts into speed and it honestly feels like it's equipped with a small turbo.

Went for a ride in this on Friday night. Must say I was sceptical, "how much of a difference does this Schrick actually make?". Anyways, running out 1st and second "felt" the same, but was definitely a bit more brisk. The big difference was the in gear acceleration. One example, cruising in 4th at 60 kmh, drop back to 3rd and punch it and the thing just hauls ass!!!

    Money well spent Mick!
