Unfortunately so wasn't my fault really...some bitch in an X5 cut me off while I was on a roundabout and my steering wheel had a small fit and my wheel clipped the roundabout gutter because I felt a bit of side movement. I was FURIOUS...

How goes the spray painting update?
Haha thanks dude The sprayer said ''plan to puyt the windscreens in on Tuesday'' so I'm planning to put them in next month lol nah I'll call him tomorrow to check if that's still the case. He reckons it'll be ready for Saturday, but who knows! I'm not fussed about nats; I just miss driving it lol.

Nah it's gotta stay at the panel shop till tomorrow morning, because my windscreen man is doing that then.

I'm gonna go up and put as much of it back together as I can

If this is the case you should be able to put 95% of the car back together. I remember with the help of the panelbeaters I put my car back together in 3 hours and that was with a break.

Yeah mate, I'm keen to see these pictures, I'm loving your work. I like how your thread has gone from home DIY stuff, to catching up with the big guys.

    Rightio.

Got my hopes up a little bit tooooo much. The respray isn't perfect, which is down to my/my mate's prepwork. There's a small patch of bubbles from bad bog on the passenger door, and you can see some 80grit sanding marks on the very top of the bonnet (hard to find really). Other than that, just the usual marks that need to be 2000 wetsanded and buffed out and she's all good.

I'm happy with the result, and the pearl colour is exactly what I wanted. It's nowhere near a perfect spray because it wasn't media blasted etc etc, but hey...it was cheap enough for me, it's the colour I want, and it's all colourcoded

The bumper won't be ready for the nats, and chances are I'm not going to be doing ANY buffing before next weekend so I'll bring it along as a WIP

    Enough ranting...bring on the pearl!!

    Mickey's a happy chappy...
