This is something they may have not come across yet maybe. It's one of those 'tricks of the trades'

Turns out all my youtubing and reading car mags might be paying off! (finally!)

My mate may be certified but he's not as experienced as some panelbeaters he's only 23!

Apparently he knows about that trick but he didn't use it because he used paint instead (paint with a feint black, sand where you need to first and ''find'' the line, then sand the rest). We're gonna try the tape on wednesday or so when his dad gets back (his dad is 60 something and a panelbeater since being a kid).

    It'll get there...

Alrightey so I went to town with my GAP order tonight, despite the rain...

The Forge Motorsport silicone hose kit is 90% installed (cbf'd with the last two, I was already drenched) - and Steve, it fits up with no problems. There's one tiny coolant hose I've got to find on the car to replace with a silicone one, but all the big important ones are fine

Speed sensor and expansion tank went in too. Gotta do the thermo kit/crack pipe kit tomorrow or something.

PS...I think I may have given in. I'm gonna colourcode the front and rear bumper tops, door handles, change to crystal indicators and I've almost made up my mind about doing the side strip colourcoded too. What would people think about colourcoding all the bottom bits too? I don't think I should, but it does look tougher...here's some pics (thanks Greg ):

This is with sidestrips left black:

    Then white:

    Then all white...

IMO the all white looks a bit body-kit-ish..I've steered well clear of that ever since first getting the car for a good reason...lol

Agreed I haven't seen colourcoded skirting pulled off yet. My vote is full colourcoded and leave the lip, skirts and arse black. That way you can still rep. for kiwi shoe polish.

option 1. I reckon keep the textured top bumpers and side rub strips.

suits the car, and it's look better. mainly suits the wheels. I dont think all white suits your wheels.
