nice work with shavin the hatch but you know its a high chance the bog will crack cause its not a flexable filler thru vibrations and movement you not worried??

when i got mine done jan last year it was heat shrink'd on the badge and welded on the wiper arm if u can see from the back so 0% bog

For once you actually have a valid point, there is a bit of bog in that and over time, and many other factors such as stress it may be prone to crack and diform... However I can tell you now that your work has small amounts of bog just for the highfill and whatever.

Mine when done back in 07 was the same process as yours.

If you use filler (bog) correctly you should have no issues with cracking etc.

I reckon your exhaust looks too tame! though very clean and will probably compliment the clean lines of your body.

And whether or not your keeping it close to your chest but have you thought about sanding, smoothing the bumpers and colour coding the side strips?
Was waiting for you to see this!

Well I haven't made the call back to the guard roller so maybe I can just wait for my camber shims to get here and then see where I stand with those installed?

Exhaust tame? Bah. You should hear it. I love it, it's so much cleaner than the last one which I agree is better because of the clean lines on the car

My mate says hi fill primer will smooth the bumper tops, and I don't believe him but he says he's done it before hahah...I'm not sure about that yet, I still love the way the car looks now but colourcoding the front and back bumper tops might work...can someone photoshop it for me? I'll get them a newer picture soon.

Well then, we shouldn't have any issues!

I'm not worried to be honest. This car is my ongoing project and I'm learning and enjoying myself as I go along. If the bog cracks or something goes wrong, then I'll just fix it by doing it another way!

If I liked my car/could afford to mod it, spoiler removal and proper wiper delete would be on the cards!
Looks damn clean and it's not even painted yet.
    Good work.

    Argh, persuasions!

It does look damn good on those cars. As per usual I'm not convinced with my car yet because I love the look of the black...it breaks it up...

Anwyays. How do I get my side skirts off, are those rivets made of metal? will I have to drill them out?

    Some more progress from tonight...

Side panels are off, as are door handles and door cards. I took the top bits of the sideskirts out, and undid the aerial (is the wire easy to disconnect without taking off the headliner?).

Tonight was mainly locating and beginning to repair things like dents and marks etc.

    Grrr...stonechips...
