Pics arn't showing mate.
So, after a few weeks of looking around I finally settled on this little bargain! Picked it up for 2k, with a full years worth of rego on it, everything working mechanically and a clean interior!
(excuse the bad photo angles, didn't have much room between the house and the car)
Car needs:
- Wheel alignment
- Aircon needs wiring up
- replacement head unit (current aftermarket one is buggered)
- reupholster headlining
- lowering
Things I want:
- set of 17's (wheels I'm going for are a surprise)
- coilovers
- reupholster seats/inside of doors
- antenna stub

Very clean CL and cheap at that one too !
Build and learn, not buy and earn.
Good stuff. Reminds me of mine when I first got it. Doesnt get much better than that at that price
Bag it and do a five stud conversion...
Cheers guys! I'm very happy with the purchase as the previous owner had it since 2000 and was a mechanic, so it's in near mint condition bar the missing wiring for the aircon.
That is a future plan but for now I'm considering the cheapy JOM coilovers off ebay. And I'm not sure I can't do a 5 stud conversion on the rear because they're drums /: but the wheels I want come in 4x100 and they're 17"x8"
A new rival I see....
Looks clean. Can't wait to see another static 3 door at some shows!
'95 Golf 3dr... low. slow. loud.
Hopefully thats the plan! Won't be making any shows till I get some work done on it though.
Might I ask, I just checked yours out, and it looks sweet but would like to know if your antenna came stock at the rear or did you move it? I plan on changing it to a stub on the fender but I'm not too sure how that'd work out.
Update: Spent the day cleaning the interior, washing, polishing and waxing and my god, it looks even better now. Fiddled around with the head unit too and managed to get the six stack CD player up and running again; time for some good tunes
