    And she's back home!!

Had a few minor things occur on the way home from the mechanics the other day but it was nothing to be worried about. Fuel gauge is intermittent as **** but fuah, she goes hard!! 2nd gear is my fav
Exhaust note is alright but I'm getting a new muffler (either Magnaflow or some other sports muffler) because she's very quiet on the downshift and when at idle, and I may also remove either the hotdog or resonator.

Few snaps of how she sits:

    Lost a dummy driving around

    Sneaky CL badge

Other than that, I'll see whoever is heading up to Nats next weekend!

Good work mate! Will have to meet you at nats. Regarding exhaust just get a complete new one if the vr6 one didn't get swapped over as it's smaller and restrictive. If you have the vr6 one just do the suitcase delete. It's cheap and sounds good. I've had a few vr6 exhausts and anything else is just annoying in my opinion.

have to agree, even with the straight 2litre gl the suitcase delete gives such a good result!

Thanks Anth and yes, we definitely need to meet at Nats! In regards to the exhaust on there, it's my custom one from the CL; 100 cell cat, hotdog, resonator, muffler and 2.5" piping all the way through. I'm not saying it sounds bad because it honestly doesn't, I just feel the rear muffler is being restrictive and that alone is what I'd like to either swap or remove... Will probably remove it haha. It has R32 raspiness from 2grand until the roar of the engine starts.

But thanks for the input guys, will have it sorted out this week.

Mate by the sounds of it I wouldn't touch it. 2.5" on mine with a high flow, 2 resonators and a back box was just annoying and ridiculous.

I know you want to hear the vr6 roar but from a practical point of view headaches after an hour of cruising and waking the neighbours up late at night is very annoying.

yeah thats what I find odd about my setup though; it's relatively loud from the outside but there is little to no cabin noise whatsoever and I totally understand your point. Apparently mum could hear me from 2 blocks away/going round the block last night at 2am... and she was awake when I opened the door too haha
