Cheers boys! Swap isn't happening until mid May but small things will happen until that time comes.

Speaking of updates, this weekends efforts entailed me installing the VR6 seats I now have. The rears we're a piece of cake but as for the fronts, I've installed the drivers as is for the time being, but I've pulled the passengers apart to get the brackets welded on where the side bolstering is to my reclining frame so I can have reclining VR seats My mates at the exhaust shop were more than happy to take on the task and they'll have em ready for tomorrow - I'll post pics of reclining VR seat tomorrow. For those of you with a two door, VR seats, an angle grinder and a welder, it's such a piss easy to job to make them recline. Total of an hour per seat I'd say if I had the tools.

I'm thinking of getting the seats reupholstered to a more modern fabric and I also need to tackle the headlining but I'm leaving that until the VR swap is done.

And we have a reclining passenger VR seat!

So happy with the result as it's such a simple, simple thing to do and it makes backseat life that all bit easier. Will tackle the drivers side this weekend

    Slight little "non-update"

replaced fuel pump with the one out of the VR6 last weekend because mine was cactus.

Bought a new set of wheels.

1.8 is gaining 2 extra cylinders and more killer-wasps next week

And I bought this little gem this morning

(yes, fully legit 20th DE Golf-ball knob. Not a rep!)

    Happy scraping.

Yeah, I saw a few circulating over on Vortex these past few months and one popped up on facebook at a dirt cheap price so I thought "why not?!". The leather has been completely reconditioned but it has no boot to go with it; thinking of getting a custom one made up
It should arrive end of this week/early next week.
