Hell yeah man! Looks a maaaaaazing!
So for those a little out of the loop or don't know already...
Last week was somewhat massive when it came to the 2 door as there were deadlines to meet before Friday and I was losing all hope.
Wheel parts had been stuck in customs for two weeks because of silly reason but last Tuesday afternoon was spent at Raymonds wheel graveyard building and sealing my RS's. After about 2.5 hours they were all complete and this was the result.
Then on wednesday arvo, Smeeb came up to help roll my front guards. This was an easy job and we got them pretty flat underneath. Thursday morning was spent rolling the rear guards which took forever because of the amount of crap that was underneath the fenders; I managed to cut myself badly and had blood squirting everywhere but I'll save that photo for another day... In the arvo we trekked it over to Rays again where we got the tyres fitted to the wheels and I must admit, they've got a nice amount of stretch.
No test fit without tyres took place, so we had to assume everything was going to fit perfect and well, the fronts and rears fit awesomely but I might go a 5mm spacer in the rear.
Then after a very early start on Friday morning we arrived at Valla Beach for Halfway Hangs. I lowered the fronts and washed the car and this is how she sat and is sitting
Next on the list of things to get done are: reupholster interior (all of it), replace Control arm bushings, install new engine loom with air-con and possibly update the speakers currently in the car.
Until next time, happy scraping!

You're lucky you don't have R32 front brakes lol
It takes me longer to clean a set of RS's than it does the whole car.

So last night I was using my car and everything was fine and dandy. Leaving a shopping centre I may have scraped something really bad even though I attacked the ramp at a mad angle, that didn't seem to stop the scrape but the car was running fine after that and had no hiccups on the 28km drive home.
This afternoon I hopped in to grab some lunch, started the car but it took a fair few turns (about 15 seconds) to get the motor running had it in first and got it 2m out of the driveway before the car stalled itself (at about 1800rpm). Started it again (this time took a little longer) got it to the intersection and it was just idling really, really rough. Got the car a couple of blocks down the road but the whole time it was making really bad clunking noises when I'd shift gear/have low rpm and it was struggling to "find power" - car seems fine when revving high though.
Any experts now what the issue could be? I plan on taking it to the mechanic this week for a service but I don't want any really big surprises. Cheers
Quick, quick quick quick update
So after yesterdays scare with the fuel pump being just a "scare" I think I know the reason as to why it happened...
For the past few months I've been searching and searching and searching for the perfect donor car. Something with "low kms", something that doesn't have 1001 issues and something that just downright works. Well, as of last week I came across a little beauty. She was built in '96, has 180k kms on the clock and has been owned by a meticulous mechanic who loved this thing to bits (so lucky).
Despite having a non existent clutch release bearing, or a key barrel (yes, she starts with a screwdriver >.> but this all happened a month ago) and being virtually undriveable, I love her to bits.
Yesterday's fuel pump scare was merely an act of jealousy between my CL and her new, more powerful sister...
