    Measuring Wheel Studs??

    Hey guys

Forgive me for the stupid question, but how do I work out what length wheel studs I need for my car? For example what am I supposed to measure?

Just want to make sure I order the right thing.

Should be length of the thread..

Are you ordering for spacers or something? Just get longer ones in case and grind them down if need's be

Are u talking about a wheel stud conversion? If so ecs has a kit, u can check out the lengths. If ur talking about wheel bolts the standard thread length is ~38mm.

Looking at a wheel stud conversion yes, not going to be using spacers though.

Just planning on using the same wheels I have currently got on the car.

I've been to ECS website but am not sure how to determine what size i need. They list 40mm, 50mm, 60mm and 70mm

Sorry had a typo 28mm is the standard bolt length so one would think that if u get a 40mm stud it should be enough. Dont forget that studs are different to bolts and it doesnt matter if u get slightly longer ones than normal, it also gives u the option of running spacers in the future.
