Dare I say, drop into Supercheap and have a look at the Permatex (I think) line of thread lockers.
Last shift I had, I noticed there was quite a few (5 or more) sepcific types of thread lock for certain jobs.
If you use loctite.. Use nothing over the 400's. 200's would even be fine. Otherwise you'll never get the stuff apart. :)
