    limp mode

    guys my vr6 is going in limp mode ive seen some of the auto trans wires they are burnt would these be makin in it go in to limp mode cheers

    You need to have it scanned for faults mate. I don't reckon there is a limp mode in VR6s.

    yeh i have had it scanned theses came up found faults 00300 transmission fluid temp sensor g93
    00641 ATF temp
    06-00 signal too high

    Have you looked to find out what might be causing this code to come up? Is the wiring shorting out somewhere, if not then maybe the temp sensor has failed.

    it's your wiring, ive repaired these before. There is a short loom that just lengthen's one of the plugs but is completely unecessary, one side of the plug rest hard up against the automatic and can be covered in battery acid and corrode.
    I remove the extra loom by removing the wrecked plug and soldering up the wires. The wire colours don't match so match so make sure you
    right down which meets which and you'll be fine.

    Otherwise if that plug is fine then just fix your damaged wires, but it may not come out of limp mode until you clear codes once you've repaired the wires.

    yehhh theres battery acid and corrode all ova the wires look all corroded
