Knocking Noise

Hey Everyone,

Every time I make a right turn, my car makes a grinding noise near the front left wheel as I turn.

At the same time, the transmission slips, revs out and once I'm done turning it engages gear again.

Your help would be much appreciated fellow volkswagen legends,

I had the grinding noise when turning, needed a new hub. Not sure why your gear box would slip at the same time tho....
