Yeah juzzy! That's more like it. Sounds awesome.
haha cheers hayden!! yeah it sounds pretty sweet,
but last night i noticed my clutch pedal felt different and then all of a sudden it planted it self to the floor, doesn't want to come back up either, the shaft that connects to the master cylinder is out of it's place, (as the thread i've posted below says a small metal piece falling off), that happened to me too.
i left the car at a mates place and i did some googling and this is the closest thread with the same problem as me.. MK3 VR6 Clutch Pedal Stuck to Floor - Solved!!! - Transmission - The VR6 Owners Club
"Just to share,
Sitting in traffic, pushed down on my Clutch and boom!!! the pedal cracked and stuck to floor!!! not panacking and close to my house, I was able to drive in 1st (scared to try shift into 2nd without clutch pedal)
With tears building in my eyes, thinking the worst, £200-£300 clutch or the hydraulic system gone faulty.... i started my investigation's...... small piece of metal (about the size of a stamp) was found in the footwell.... further investigations I discovered the pedal return mechanism, in my opinion, the worst design I have ever seen!!! requires this small piece to hold the infamous white clip in place, without it.... the pedal just sticks to the floor and does not return!!!!
A visit from my mechanic friend with his mig welder and he spot welded the little piece back into place and I was back on the road as good as new!!!
Why am I sharing...... I would advise everyone with a MK3 to double check the clutch pedal return mechanism (its behind a removable plastic panel, 2 plastic screw plugs will remove it) and with a torch, take a good look at the white clip and ensure the small black bracket is secure and not about to give way at your next clutch pedal to floor, whilst sitting in traffic!!!! :-#
*** You have been warned!!!!! lol *** "
it was 1 am at the time and i couldn't work out how the pedal assembly even worked so i had no idea where the clip was supposed to go.
going back to his house later maybe i can suss it out but can anyone help me? i can use my free racv tow back home but if it's just clipping it in then i'd rather save my free tow for another time.
You'll need to weld it up or get a new pedal. If it is that bracket.
There's on in my thread. February '13
I am going there later , should I just get a tow back or is there a way to clip it somewhere ? I need to drive home and car is coming off the road for abit so won't be driven

Start it in gear, then clutchless shift home.
Nah I'll get stuck somewhere along the way
