Have a look at the clutch pedal but the fact it returns should eliminate a broken clip
thanks for the info, you're awesome. if it is the clutch fork, I recall seeing a few reinforced clutch forks , Is that something I can do to mine, or would it likely be too far gone ?

There's a photo in my thread of what my fork looked like when i pulled it out. It was so close to being in two pieces.

You can buy reinforced clutch forks from flipside customs. I have one and it's perfect and was cheap. But dollar was awesome then. I don't know what an oem fork costs but i wouldn't risk running one again.

so as I don't have any room in the garage, weather is usually ****ty, can't be bothered ripping off my gearbox and then putting it back on just so I can keep it in the drive way. + I don't really have that much time to work on my car, most time is after hours and it's too dark to see anything.

decided to wait until I'm not so high school kid poor(actually save my money for a few weeks), and get a "stage 1" heavy duty replacement clutch kit off ecs and use a forward shipping company to get it to Aus, and if it's my clutch fork I'll just get a reinforced one.

does anyone know about these shipping companies how to estimate the shipping costs because they ask for weight/dimensions. what am I supposed to write when I haven't got my hands on the item?

    Found this photo?

I use a company called 'Shipito' and they are really fair with rates. They consolidate packages, so they remove cardboard etc. and repack multiple items into one box if you're getting a bunch of stuff from other sources.

Here's some screen shots of different packages I've had sent (give you an idea of total cost, including repacking fees etc.): ShipIto - Album on Imgur

They also have a calculator Shipito Shipping Calculator

I use it for all my ECS orders. It works well since ECS do free USA shipping over $200

yeah I was going to use shipito, but how do I calculate shipping if I can't measure the package I'm sending?

Second that. I have been struggling to find a decent stage 1 clutch locally (with 14lb smf) for a decent price
