mrvrsexy, your front looks lower then 100mm mr. I'd love you to prove me wrong though. but it does look good and isn't slammed

so, yes, wheel/tyre choice plays a massive role. With no disrespect to anyone, I still think 17's look to big; From what i've seen above, I think 15's or 16's with chunkier tyres win this quandary.

Joe, that maroon vr with the SA vr wheels look mint, i've never really appreciated them that much till now.... which I guess is why the fat 5's look as good as what they do.

Water boy, anymore pics of the green vr with the SSR comp wheels??

Just put these on yesterday and it's sitting much higher than it was when I was on stock wheels, plus I can go over speed humps and bumps in the road easily for a change! 17s aren't for everyone on mk3s but I like these ones. I couldn't go much lower than it is now except for a little at the front.

Soooo glad this thread came about.
Never been a fan of stance or impractically low cars, but I'm tolerant of people's tastes.

Waterboy posted this in the picture thread. Not sure if more than 100mm off the ground.

    I believe the wheel is 15x7.5 with 205 50 15 tyres.
I love this look, needs less rake and more wheel to arch gap for me.
That square tyre wall really helps pull off smaller wheels, who needs 17s

Mine's at 110mm back on the mk3 steelies and i've still got some wheel/arch gap.
I painted my lip white to give the illusion of a lower car too, black lips can meld into the shadow of the car sometimes. but I might go back to a black lip though.

    Just throwing this out there.........

Last two posts are tight as!

Not a fan of that tiny however.

Just as a question. Where are you measuring you 100mm from because, alot of the mk3 is hanging down.

Yeah, I recall legal height limits are 100mm from lowest point UNDER LOAD. I think the sump is the lowest point so I'd base it off that, but visually I'd say people are talking about from lip.

    15s aren't tiny, 14s are.
