We waited for that... BAN!
Maybe if they were filled in... Will have to wait to see if you ever get the proper photo's uploaded, then photoshop the lines in and see how it goes. Definately remove it from the grill though.
I'm with you, reckon it looks like a dog's breakfast! No offence meant science but it makes the car look like it's been sticky taped together.
The lines look pretty wobbly and this is one of the many problems using PVC tape. The vinyl tape the professionals use has a clear premask over it that you remove after you apply the tape. This enables you to pull the tape nice and tight when applying the tape thus keeping the lines straight. Pulling the PVC tape that tight simply stretches and narrows it so you have to apply it fairly loose causing the lines to become wobbly.
Also the narrow stripes just don't work, perhaps a couple of wider stripes may work but the 4 narrow stripes just don't look right and as I mentioned yesterday, by half way through summer the vinyl will shrink and begin to perish.
In a past life I used apply stripes etc to cars for dealers and for Subaru (sportswagon kits) and Mazda (626 Eclipse and 323 shades kits) before the dealers received them so I have some knowledge of the subject.
Cheers
George

I'm not keen on it, but i'd reserve final judgement until proper vynil racing stripes were down.
