How'd you go with control arms? Been thinking it would be a pita so haven't tried it.

It wasn't too bad, just make sure you have a big soft blow hammer to get the control arms out/in. I Used a blow torch to get the bushings out then a cold chisel on the rear bushing shell. Front bushings just push in with heaps of grease, rears needed a vice and some wood to get them in. Hardest part was getting the bolts back in when installing.

Did seem to make much difference on the ride but the whole front end seems tighter and more direct.

So after having a rough idle and terrible fuel economy over the last week i check under the hood and after a year of ownership the first thing to break and actually need replacing was the pcv valve today, so I made my own pcv delete kit thanks to bunnings and autobahn. Anyone think I will run into any problems not having it vent to the intake?

I don't think I had any problems when mine was broken, apart from oil going everywhere. Not sure if blocking it off will cause build-up though. I increased fuel economy when I cleaned out my MAF.

It will smoke and you will think your car is on fire.

I just used a piece of heater hose to replace it.

I don't remember mine ever smoking. I would just use the parts you've bought. Cleaner for the intake really than reconnecting with heater hose.
