    Ironmans Mk3

    Hey all,
I do believe that I had a thread in here already but I can't find it anywhere. Even looked in my started threads etc.
Well I will post some of my old stuff up here shortly but I have just had some window tinting done which I think matches my car perfectly. It is a Cherry Red Chrome Fader. Here are some pics I took this morning while having a coffee and perving on my car.

This was a pre-application test to see what it would look like.

Thanks Clay just wanted to do something that no one else had to their Mk3 that I know of. Plus Distracts from the paint job. Whish is getting a freshen up Saturday and next week with my new RO polisher.

I have been looking at my headlights for a while thinking I should do something about them as they are getting foggy and I want a new look. So my first step was to purchase some Plastic lens polish. I ended up going with the Duragloss Plastic lens polish It worked a treat now I want to Joey Mod the Chrome backing and leave the raised bits Chrome. So here are some pics of before and afters. Its not much but still makes a noticeable improvement.

Headlights look much better, dirty foggy sort of headlight lenses really make a car look old. Good work!

Keen to see it after its all detailed. If I had my license and all I'd be happy to come out and give you a hand with the polishing if you wanted
