    interesting problem

I just installed the replacement fog lights and turn signal that I bought from ebay, look really nice and fit in no probs, however, the indicators now flashing really quickly....... anyone know why? And how to fix, as sometimes the right one is normal then speeds up. random!

Is it only one side ? It should be the contact of the opposite bulb.. I had exact same problem.. randomly flashing.. try taking the bulb out, wiggle it around a bit.

its not that it flashes randomly, but that it flashes really fast when the indicator is on

That usually means an indicator bulb somewhere in your car is blown, check em all and see how you go.

yeah that is so that you know there is a problem in the circut, do the ind work ? they normally flash fast when a blub goes out so you know its out.
have a look to see if all the blubs are working then check the earths for each one.

It can also mean that you have not made contact properly with the indicator! When I was driving my car to the panel beaters I had all that stuff off and got the fast flashing cause nothing was in there!

I had this problem too, except it was when I indicate. When I put the hazards on, they flashed at normal speed. This was happening cos I did not have the front indicators wired in; the wires were just dangling about at the front. Once I wired them back in again, they worked fine.
