    installation of cruise control in mk 3

    Hey again,
    does anybody know how much it is to install cruise control into a MK 3 golf? And it is possible to get a sunroof installed aswell?? Thanks

    Not sure about cruise control, but with a sunroof, a lot of work is involved. You'd need to chop the roof, weld extra support and the sunroof in as well. In all, it'd end up a lot of money for an extra opening!

    Bail up Golf Loon, he has a full cruise control setup for a Mk3 at his workshop... already eyed it off as spares for the VR6

    It's one of the commonly broken parts in the Mk3, it runs on air very similar to the central locking. In my case all the relays tick when they should (or at least they sound like it) so chances are it's the pump thats screwed.

    Although I am by no means an expert, from everything I have seen about the Mk3 cruise control, it may be easier to pick up an after market electric dodad instead.

    Mine already has both Not that i'm bragging or anything Honestly though I wouldn't bother with a sunroof, they can really be a pain in the ass when the seals etc go rotten.
