    Ignition switch

    Hi guys,

A question mainly for the mechanical gurus - I'll be changing my ignition switch once I buy a new one but I'm wondering, would I be able to just order online without showing them my key? From the pic above, it looks like it comes with the part that you insert your key into, so I'm thinking they need to match that part with your own key? A newb question but I honestly don't know the answer to.

    Cheers,
    Raymond.

Nope its just a plastic switch mate, no need for key specific.

Thanks Matt, reckon you have a good condition one in your workshop? If not I think I'll just order one internationally... Oh are LHD ones compatible with RHD?

As long as you have a left handed screw driver to get it installed. I have a few spares I can sell you

errrm, back on track, from what I have seen in the repair manual I have there is only one part, so it should fit either, but then I have been wrong before.
