ignition barrel

weird question, can someone confirm whether it's possible or not to twist the ignition barrel around, say 90 degrees, so that my switchblade can be put in a little less awkwardly?

I'd say NO, as the barrel is held in by the metal casting around the steering wheel shaft, locked into a specific position. Might work if you strip it all way and have it exposed

sorry mickey all ignition barrels only go in one way coz when u have the key out they also lock the steering wheel in place.

Haha yeah I thought that was the case! Oh well, it will just be awkward to turn the key fob...heheh

i dont know what shape the key is, but might it be possible to rotate the key itself 90 degrees in the switchblade?

Not exactly the same as mine, but you get the picture....no turning the key for me!
