IAT sensor

there are many sensors on the golfs and its so confusing, i am looking for the IAT sensor G42, i hooked up the scan tool to my car as it is running really really bad and is coming up with the error which is 00523 which is the iat sensor. i was just wondering which one it is, near the ecu? or throttle body? or neither thanks

Ask golf loon, jmac or ring joe @ golfwagen. Either would help... or I shoot them.
